Before you make a Say It Right dance solo
One photo controls one lead dancer. The scene stays the night party; the room or scenery behind you in the uploaded photo is not a custom background. There is no second-person slot on this preset.
A face the camera can read
Use one adult facing the camera in even light, without sunglasses or heavy filters. Leave space around the head and shoulders. A small face in a group photo gives the model less identity detail.
Show what you want to keep
A waist-up image works, but unseen trousers and shoes must be invented. A full-body photo gives more evidence for the outfit. Keep hands separate from the torso; tiny lettering and logos may still change.
A pet with its own shape
Choose a sharp photo showing the face, fur markings and paws. The pet dances upright on its hind legs; this is an AI interpretation, not a promise of human-style hand gestures or a specific cartoon style.

Which Say It Right choreography will it follow?
This is the Rio phone-camera take, not a blank prompt box. A built-in motion reference guides the lead’s position, steps and turns. Shorter options use the beginning of the same take rather than squeezing the full dance into fewer seconds.
- 10 seconds: reach toward the phone, step back, roll the shoulders and hands while moving side to side.
- 15 seconds: the same opening, then a sideways glance and a return toward the camera.
- 20 seconds: includes the later forward bend, a brief handheld jolt and the rise back up. Seedance 2.5 only.

The Say It Right dance song—and the mirror meme
“Say It Right” is Nelly Furtado’s 2006 song. The 2022 Say It Right mirror dance features Jamie Big Sorrel Horse (@jamie32bsh); studio routines and the Rio street-party clip are different performances. A search for “Nelly Furtado Say It Right choreography” can lead to any of them. This preset selects the Rio scene shared by @zenegaooficial, not the bathroom meme or the official music video’s dancers.
The original song, sped-up edits and the Tiësto remix do not share the same timing. This MP4 keeps the party recording. If you replace it with a Say It Right dance remix, align the opening beat and check the ending too; the generator does not automatically retime the dance to a different mix.

AI dance template or CapCut edit?
An AI dance template animates your still photo with a selected motion reference. Motion-control tools generally ask you to supply that reference yourself. A CapCut editing template arranges existing media to a sound; check the specific template to see whether it includes a separate AI effect. Here the Rio dance is already selected, so no reference upload or written prompt is needed.

Before your first Say It Right dance video
Can I use a waist-up selfie instead of a full-body photo?
Yes. Keep the whole face and shoulders sharp. The model has to invent anything outside the crop, including trousers, shoes and some hand details. Use a full-body photo when those details matter, and avoid a tightly cropped face.
Can my dog or cat do the Say It Right dance?
Yes, the preset accepts one pet photo. It asks for the pet’s own fur, markings and body, dancing upright with paw movements. The result can still distort anatomy, so check it before sharing. A specific cartoon rendering style is not a setting on this page.
Will the Say It Right dancer wear the clothes in my photo?
The photo supplies the lead’s outfit as well as the face. Show the complete outfit for a better reference. Small patterns, text, accessories and hidden clothing are not guaranteed, and the street-party background stays fixed.
Can I add my friend as a second dancer?
Not in this preset: there is one photo slot and one replacement lead. Uploading a group photo does not assign separate people to the crowd. For a two-photo scene, use the linked Tormenta de Arena or Storm II tools.
Are the 10-, 15- and 20-second versions different dances?
They use the opening 10, 15 or 20 seconds of the same Rio take. The longer choices reveal later movements. Every model offers 10 and 15 seconds; only Seedance 2.5 offers the whole 20 seconds.
Does the $4.99 Trial cover the default video?
Yes. Its 450 credits cover the default Seedance 2.5 / 15s / 480p quote of 435 credits. The Trial is limited to one successful generation and first-time buyers. More expensive combinations need additional purchased credits; there is no recurring subscription.
If the face drifts, do I get a free retry?
Only a job marked failed receives an automatic credit refund. For a completed result, a fresh generation costs credits again. Before another attempt, replace a blurred or side-on photo, remove heavy filters and show separated hands. There is no face-lock slider or guaranteed fix.
Why does a different Say It Right dance mix go off beat?
A remix or sped-up track can have a different tempo and starting point. Keep the included party sound for the template’s timing, or align both the first and last movement when editing. Shifting only the start cannot correct a growing tempo mismatch.
